Building Goodness Foundation Holiday Update

As the season of giving approaches, we’d like to share a neat opportunity from our friends at the Building Goodness Foundation. You can support BGF’s mission to bring together volunteers from every part of the construction industry to design and build structures for communities in need by participating in their “Giving Tuesday” campaign. BGF’s online site is waiving all site fees throughout Giving Tuesday. If you’d like to make your end of the year donation go a little further, then this is a great opportunity to consider!

And be sure to check out the project page for VMDO’s work at the Excelsior Technical Institute in Thomassin, Haiti. ┬áThe Trade School will provide Haitians with vocational training that will support the effort to rebuild Haiti in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake disaster. The facility will provide education in building trades and other related skills crucially needed in the earthquake recovery effort. The men and women who graduate from the school will help spread their education to others and expand the ability of Haitians to help Haitians.
